Our client, a leading manufacturing and logistics organization, is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Material Handler/Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the warehouse and shipping teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, safety-mindedness, and teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Location: Beaverton, OR

Pay Range: $24.06/hr

Shift: Swing Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm

What's the Job?

Comply with established safety practices, policies, and procedures, including PPE, ZES, PIT/PED safety protocols Read factory work orders and shipping/receiving documents to understand customer requirements and processing information Monitor conveyor lines, remove units, and load units into trailers or storage areas Check load tags and unit counts to ensure accuracy Inspect finished units during loading to prevent damage and verify straps are intact

What's Needed?

Proven success in safety, attendance, and quality of work Open to learning the baler and other positions as well. They will be cross-training heavily in the future Certified ability to safely operate a forklift truck Ability to accurately use and read measuring devices Basic knowledge of computer operations Ability to learn, follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as part of a team
