Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing and logistics organization, is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Material Handler/Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the warehouse and shipping teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, safety-mindedness, and teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Material Handler/Forklift Operator
**Location: Beaverton, OR**
**Pay Range:** $24.06/hr
**Shift:** Swing Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm
**What's the Job?**
+ Comply with established safety practices, policies, and procedures, including PPE, ZES, PIT/PED safety protocols
+ Read factory work orders and shipping/receiving documents to understand customer requirements and processing information
+ Monitor conveyor lines, remove units, and load units into trailers or storage areas
+ Check load tags and unit counts to ensure accuracy
+ Inspect finished units during loading to prevent damage and verify straps are intact
**What's Needed?**
+ Proven success in safety, attendance, and quality of work
+ Certified ability to safely operate a forklift truck
+ Ability to accurately use and read measuring devices
+ Basic knowledge of computer operations
+ Ability to learn, follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as part of a team
