This role involves managing the flow of products throughout the facility, ensuring the availability and proper storage of inventory items. The position requires moving and staging materials using forklifts and pallet jacks, alongside data entry and inventory tracking.
ResponsibilitiesMove parts and update location data in the computer.Issue kits for production (WIP) and final assembly.Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure the availability of items.Transport parts and materials between locations and departments as required.Receive finished goods from production.Maintain a clean work area and assist in departmental housekeeping.Comply with safety procedures and company policies.Complete other duties and projects as assigned.Participate actively in company-sponsored training programs.Maintain working relationships with all levels of staff and outside contacts.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or G.E.D.Ability to read, comprehend, and follow verbal instructions.Strong attention to detail.Computer proficiency and ability to type 30 words per minute.Ability to read and interpret engineering bills of materials and blueprints.Forklift operation skills.Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.At least 1 year of experience in a related field.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in shipping, material handling, and operating a stand-up forklift is preferred.Basic hand tools experience for building crates.Ability to understand written instructions and engineering drawings.Certification in forklift operation is a plus, although on-site certification is available.Why Work Here?Our company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with spousal benefits. Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a warehouse/manufacturing setting focused on producing hydraulic actuators. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 5 AM to 1:30 PM. Employees are expected to handle and lift items over 40 lbs, engage in shipping and receiving tasks, and maintain safe forklift operations. All necessary PPE and uniforms are provided.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.45 - $23.45/hr.
