Material Handler Forklift
**Job Title: Material Handler Forklift** **Job Description** The position involves a variety of tasks related to the flow of products throughout the facility. You will be responsible for moving and staging materials, ensuring inventory availability, and determining optimal storage methods. Operating forklifts and pallet jacks will be a key part of your daily routine. **Responsibilities** + Move parts and update location data in the computer system. + Issue kits for production work-in-progress and final assembly. + Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure availability of items when needed. + Transport parts and materials between locations and departments as required. + Receive finished goods from production. + Maintain a clean work area and participate in departmental housekeeping. + Comply with safety procedures and company policies. + Complete other duties and projects as assigned. + Actively participate in company-sponsored training programs. **Essential Skills** + High School Diploma or G.E.D. + Ability to read, comprehend, and follow verbal instructions. + Strong attention to detail. + Knowledge of computers and ability to type 30 words per minute. + Ability to read and interpret engineering bills of materials and blueprints. + Forklift operation experience. + Basic arithmetic skills for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience in a similar field is preferred. + Experience with basic hand tools and understanding written instructions such as engineering drawings. + Familiarity with shipping documentation, BOLs, customs, and pack slips. + Ability to lift 40+ lbs. **Why Work Here?** Our organization offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as spousal coverage for those who qualify. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 5 AM to 1:30 PM. Safety is a priority, with dedicated EHS management and continuous improvements in safety practices. All necessary personal protective equipment and uniforms are provided. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Enumclaw, WA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.45 - $23.45/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
