Material Handler Forklift
Job Title: Material Handler Forklift OperatorJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler Forklift Operator who is capable of safely and efficiently managing materials within our large aerospace manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should be proficient in computer use and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred candidates will have at least two years of experience operating forklifts.

ResponsibilitiesVerify paperwork, work orders, and shipping instructions.Kit and move products safely using a sit-down forklift.Load and unload trucks efficiently.Handle materials, including packing and unpacking boxes, and manage shipping and receiving processes.
Essential SkillsProficiency in computer use.Ability to read and write effectively.Experience in forklift operation, preferably with 2 years of experience.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with palletizing and packaging.Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures.

Work Environment

This position is based within a large aerospace manufacturing company. Candidates may be required to stand for the entire shift and will operate in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, using cutting-edge technologies and equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Middletown, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.66 - $21.66/hr.
