Material Handler Forklift
**Job Title: Material Handler Forklift** **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent Material Handler who will efficiently utilize Powered Industrial Equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, hoists, and other material handling equipment to facilitate the movement of materials and products for production, shipping, or waste management. This role includes operating both electrical and pneumatic powered hand tools, constructing shipping containers, preparing products for shipment, and crating and/or banding products as necessary. You will also be responsible for inspecting products to ensure they meet quality, engineering, and customer requirements, as well as completing and maintaining accurate electronic processes and paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping/receiving systems. **Responsibilities** + Operate forklifts, hand trucks, hoists, and other material handling equipment. + Use electrical and pneumatic powered hand tools. + Construct shipping containers and prepare products for shipment. + Crate and/or band products as required. + Inspect products to ensure conformance to quality, engineering, and customer requirements. + Complete and maintain accurate electronic processes and paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping/receiving systems. **Essential Skills** + Experience in manufacturing and production environments. + Proficiency in forklift operation and material handling. + Skill in using hand tools, including heavy lifting. + Experience in shipping and receiving processes. + Ability to operate RF scanners and engage in general production activities. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of the workday. + Capability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch. + Physical ability to lift and carry 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with assistance. + Manual dexterity for tool usage. + Ability to visually inspect products. + Comfort working in a temperature-controlled environment and wearing all required personal protective equipment. **Why Work Here?** You will enjoy working in a climate-controlled facility with a carpentry-like environment, which is equipped with saws, metal forming machines, and heat presses for panels.
