**Job Title: Material Handler Forklift**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a Material Handler Forklift Operator to join our team within a large aerospace manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to operate a sit-down forklift and have a solid understanding of computer usage. This role involves verifying paperwork, managing work orders, following shipping instructions, and safely moving products using a forklift.
**Responsibilities**
+ Verify paperwork, work orders, and shipping instructions.
+ Kit and move products safely using a sit-down forklift.
+ Operate and train as a forklift operator, preferably with 2 years of experience.
+ Palletize materials, pack boxes, and manage shipping and receiving.
+ Load and unload trucks efficiently.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in computer usage.
+ Effective communication skills, including the ability to read and write.
+ Forklift operation experience, preferably 2 years.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in material handling, packing, and shipping.
+ Ability to stand for the entire shift.

**Work Environment**
The work is conducted within a large aerospace manufacturing facility where the candidate may be required to stand the entire shift. The environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail and safety standards.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Middletown, Connecticut.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.41 - $22.41/hr.
