**Job Title: Chemical Waste Material Handler** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Chemical Waste Technician to manage the handling, labeling, and coordination of chemical waste materials in a manufacturing environment. This role is critical to maintaining compliance with environmental regulations and ensuring a safe workplace and proper disposal of chemical waste. **Responsibilities** + Safely remove chemical waste barrels from production lines and replace them with empty containers. + Transfer chemical waste from barrels into larger totes using proper handling procedures. + Accurately label totes with the appropriate waste profile such as hazardous waste, re-use, or non-hazardous. + Operate forklifts to transport filled totes to designated storage or disposal areas. + Coordinate with licensed waste disposal vendors to schedule timely pickups of chemical waste. + Maintain accurate records of waste types, volumes, and disposal dates. + Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations. + Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). **Essential Skills** + Forklift operation + Previous experience working with or handling chemicals **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous forklift experience + Experience working with chemicals or chemical waste + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision + Basic computer skills **Why Work Here?** Join a company known for its excellent benefits and supportive culture, ensuring a positive work-life balance and great opportunities for professional growth. **Work Environment** The role requires work in non-climate controlled manufacturing facilities and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat. Work hours are 1st Shift Monday-Thursday from 6:30AM-5PM, with overtime on Fridays as needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Pacific, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $45760.00/yr.
