Material Handler / Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift Pay: $20.26 per hour Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM Overtime: Required Schedule: Full‑time Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Material Handler / Forklift Operator to support manufacturing operations by ensuring the right materials are delivered to machines on time and finished goods are prepared accurately for customer shipment. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced environment requiring attention to detail, safety, and teamwork. What You’ll Do Operate powered industrial equipment in tight working spaces Supply machines with correct materials to support production Receive, stage, and put away incoming materials Use RF scanners and computer systems to complete inventory transactions Operate stretch‑wrap equipment, scales, and related tools Perform safety inspections on forklifts and ensure safe operation Lift up to 35 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical job duties Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Participate in waste and material management processes Work collaboratively to meet business and production goals Required Qualifications Successful completion of forklift and electric pallet jack training High School Diploma or GED (accredited institution) Basic math skills Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 35 lbs regularly Ability and willingness to work overtime as required Preferred Qualifications Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory management systems Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing or warehouse environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Additional Information Shift: 2nd Shift Overtime: Yes CDL: Not required Union Position: Yes Why Join This Team?
