Job Description
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Material Handlers. The role is essential in ensuring the smooth movement and management of materials within the plant. This position offers the opportunity to start on the 1st shift for training and transition to the 2nd shift, which includes a pay differential.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of material handling and inventory control tasks, including receiving raw material deliveries, preparing materials for production, and transporting materials within the warehouse.Utilize both manual and power equipment safely and efficiently to handle materials.Maintain accurate inventory through precise work assignments and computer transactions.Conduct visual inspections of all materials to ensure quality standards are met.Maintain a clean and safe work environment, reporting any unsafe conditions to supervisors.Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external contacts such as vendors and truck drivers.Receive, unpack, and verify materials against purchase orders, checking for accuracy and any damages.Complete all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner.Essential Skills
Experience with sit-down forklift operation.Basic computer skills for inventory management.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of a high school education.One year of experience in a related area.Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items and standing for long periods.Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.Why Work Here?

The facility is very clean, well-lit, and maintains a near clean-room standard. While the pace is steady, teamwork and communication are key components of our work culture. Candidates should be comfortable with varying smells due to the manufacturing process of adhesives. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
