Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production lines by efficiently delivering parts to them and removing materials as needed. Collaborating closely with the leads in both the paint and assembly departments, you will ensure that all departmental needs are met. You will operate forklifts to transport parts from shelves to the production lines, maneuver carts and pallet jacks across the production floor, and assist other material handlers as well as the paint unload team.
Responsibilities
Support production lines by delivering and removing materials.Collaborate with paint and assembly department leads to meet their needs.Operate a forklift to transport parts from shelves to production lines.Move carts and pallet jacks throughout the production floor.Assist other material handlers, work on the assembly line, and support the paint unload team.Conduct inventory transactions using a handheld scanner.Essential Skills
Experience in inventory, material handling, or part picking is preferred.Proficiency with RF scanning devices.Effective communication skills in English.Basic arithmetic skills including counting, adding, and subtracting.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.Physical ability to lift/carry up to 10 lbs constantly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.Capability to push/pull up to 100 lbs occasionally.Ability to perform tasks involving walking and standing for 8-12 hour shifts.Frequent use of hands and fingers for picking parts and gripping objects.Occasional crouching, kneeling, bending, stooping, and reaching.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
The work environment is within a manufacturing facility, which is not air-conditioned and can become warm during the summer. The paint department is air-conditioned when handling painting parts, but much of the work involves moving materials in the fabrication area where it can be warm. Employees should be comfortable working in these conditions.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.70 - $22.70/hr.
