**Material Handler I – Global Service Logistics**
_Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM_
_Pay Rate: $22/hr_
**About the Role**
We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented **Material Handler I** to join our client’s **Global Service Logistics team** . This is an entry‑level opportunity ideal for candidates who enjoy hands‑on work, fast‑paced environments, and supporting critical operational workflows.
Material Handlers support internal customers by receiving, moving, replenishing, and preparing materials used throughout the organization. Candidates must be in good standing (attendance, quality, performance) and able to excel in at least **three key material-handling tasks** such as receiving, put‑away, replenishment, material transfers, packing, or kitting.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Receive incoming materials and complete required system transactions.
+ Move materials between staging, storage, and work‑in‑process locations.
+ Replenish point‑of‑use parts for assigned work areas.
+ Prepare and deliver SPP (Single Parts Presentation) kits to production teams.
+ Fulfill and transact material transfer (MT) requests electronically or via hard copy.
+ Pack system carts, FRUs, kits, and related materials.
+ Perform SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) transactions accurately.
+ Participate in daily cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory.
+ Follow all materials management policies, including FIFO, safety, quality, 5S, and good housekeeping standards.
+ Communicate via email regarding material movement, status, or issues.
+ Operate material‑handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
+ Contribute to Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, including identifying and implementing improvements.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Previous material handling or warehouse experience preferred.
+ Ability to communicate clearly with peers and internal customers (verbal & written).
+ Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment (certification preferred).
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical motions (walking, squatting, bending, climbing).
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
+ Experience using computer systems such as **MS Office, SAP, WMS, or other ERP systems** .
+ Fast‑paced warehouse/manufacturing experience (Amazon, medical, or similar) is a plus.
+ Lean experience or process‑driven mindset is a strong advantage.
+ Strong work ethic, problem‑solving skills, and reliability.
