We are seeking dedicated Material Handlers to join our team at a chemical manufacturing plant. We have openings for both day and night shifts, operating on a 2-2-3 schedule. This role involves moving materials within the facility and requires a keen sense of responsibility and teamwork.
ResponsibilitiesOperate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials.Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.Handle products weighing up to 50 lbs and roll large drums weighing up to 100 lbs.Assist with tasks outside the standard material handler duties as needed.Essential SkillsExperience with sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.Ability to perform general labor tasks such as loading and unloading.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in manufacturing or as a material handler.Background in landscaping, carpentry, or construction.A positive attitude and willingness to assist in various areas of the facility.Why Work Here?This role offers the opportunity to advance into a chemical operator position, providing a clear career path for motivated individuals. Work EnvironmentThe work environment is non-climate controlled, meaning it can become extremely hot in the summer and quite cold in the winter. Employees must be comfortable working in these conditions while adhering to safety protocols.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
