**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description**
This role involves performing both physical and administrative tasks related to the receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, and supplies, while maintaining accurate records of materials and inventory. The position requires stamina for repetitive tasks and a keen attention to detail. It also demands a proactive approach to safety and quality, with the ability to identify and report issues promptly. Learning new processes, systems, and equipment is essential.
**Responsibilities**
+ Receive, store, and distribute materials, parts, and supplies.
+ Maintain detailed records of materials and inventory.
+ Identify and report any safety or quality issues.
+ Adapt to new processes, systems, and equipment as necessary.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in material handling and warehouse operations.
+ Proficiency in computer operations.
+ Background in manufacturing operations.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.
+ Proficiency in reading and understanding procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English.
+ Ability to carry out and communicate verbal instructions in English.
+ Adherence to safety-related practices, including good housekeeping and ergonomics.
+ Preferred experience in manufacturing.

**Work Environment**
The role requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. It involves working with and sorting small component parts, requiring good visual perception and fine motor skills. The position demands a high energy level, the ability to follow detailed instructions, complete accurate documentation, and identify and correct minute inconsistencies. Teamwork is essential, with expectations to work collaboratively in a diverse setting, resolve conflicts, and contribute to team improvement.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.80 - $22.80/hr.
