**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the reconditioning of heat exchange plates. This involves removing old rubber gaskets, power washing, testing for cracks or holes, washing and drying, gluing new gaskets, transferring them into an oven, and packaging them for shipment. **Responsibilities** + Recondition heat exchange plates by removing old rubber gaskets. + Clean the plates using power washing techniques. + Test plates for cracks or holes using specialized materials under a black light. + Wash and dry plates after testing. + Glue new gaskets onto the plates and transfer them into an oven for adhesion. + Cool the plates and prepare them for shipment. **Essential Skills** + 1 year of manufacturing or production experience. + Attention to detail. + Ability to work effectively in a team. + Capability to lift up to 50 pounds. + Self-motivation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in general labor, packing, production, and material handling. + Familiarity with hand tools, assembly, packaging, and forklifts. + Ability to perform cleaning tasks. **Why Work Here?** Join a small team environment with excellent advancement opportunities. Dress code includes steel-toed boots and jeans, with safety glasses and gloves provided. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ankeny, IA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
