**Job Title: Material handler** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Line Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling materials and operating machinery within our production environment. This is an excellent opportunity to start as a material handler and advance to operator roles, with potential for lead or supervisor positions. **Responsibilities** + Work with work orders or follow oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved or delivered. + Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. + Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated areas. + Move products to chip bins and trash containers as needed. **Essential Skills** + Material handling experience in a heavy industrial setting. + Ability to confidently use a tape measure. + Basic arithmetic skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. + Ability to read a tape measure accurately. + High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Machine operation experience is preferred for advancement opportunities. + Must be able to follow safety guidelines and employ safe working habits. **Why Work Here?** Our company provides a clear path for career advancement from material handler to operator roles, and potentially into lead or supervisor positions. Weekend operators work 36 hours but are paid for 40 hours. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
