\n\t\t\t\t\tRole Overview:\n\nPerform material handler functions, both physically and in ERP system. Follow all safety rules and company established manufacturing methods and processes.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES: \n\nUsing a forklift or hand truck, transport all materials.\nComplete material transfers, purchase order receipts, and shipping transactions in ERP system via PC or barcode scanning.\nCheck and maintain all Kanban production areas and replenish as necessary, including visual inspection of applicable material bins.\nTransfer completed orders to queued area and/or warehouse; complete corresponding transactions into ERP system.\nGenerate and pick customer order picklists ensuring accurate part, lot number, and quantity.\nCreate necessary shipping documentation including BOLs, Invoices, SLIs or related documentation.\nCommunicate with internal groups for pertinent information, including purchasing, manufacturing, scheduling, customer service, etc.\nCommunicate with motor carriers/parcel services to obtain rate quotes and scheduling the appropriate pick up times; fill out paperwork and tracking information.\nAssist in training new employees, as well as actively participate in lean manufacturing activities.\nPerform standard warehouse operations, including location/pallet consolidation, remaining balance verification, location organization and standard location replenishment.\nOther duties as assigned.

\n\t\t\t\t\tMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\nMinimum 2 years of combination of material handling functions, computer system data entry, forklift and/or hand truck operations in an industrial environment.\nAbility to distinguish color\nAbility to read, write, take direction and work well within a team\nProficient in speaking/writing/reading English\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\n\nMust be able to work standing for 8 hours.\nAble to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $45000.00/yr.
