**Job Title: Material Handler** Job Description We are seeking a versatile Material Handler to efficiently operate forklifts and manage shipping and receiving tasks using USPS and FedEx computer systems. The role involves various warehouse duties, including order picking and inventory management. Responsibilities + Operate forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models, as well as cherry pickers and reach trucks. + Manage shipping and receiving processes using USPS, FedEx, UPS WorldShip, LTL, and Ship Manager systems. + Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently in the warehouse. + Maintain organized inventory records and assist with unloading deliveries. + Contribute to maintaining an organized warehouse environment. Essential Skills + Proficiency in operating forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models. + Experience with warehouse work such as picking, inventory management, and shipping/receiving. + Familiarity with shipping systems like UPS WorldShip and FedEx. + Ability to handle material efficiently and safely. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred. + Capability to work in a hot environment. + Willingness to learn and adapt to various shipping processes. Work Environment The role operates within a well-organized warehouse environment. The work hours are from 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The warehouse can get hot, so the ability to work comfortably in such conditions is important. Employees are encouraged to dress appropriately for a warehouse setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warwick, Rhode Island. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
