Material Handler
**Job Title: Material Handler** Job Description As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for utilizing computer systems and handling related documentation while performing tasks that involve lifting up to 50 lbs. Your role will include filling liquids and powders into tanks, using scales for accurate measurements, and weighing out raw materials precisely according to formulas. Additionally, you will select appropriate tanks based on manufacturing requirements and batch sizes, and use barcode scanners for lot number and quantity accuracy. Responsibilities + Operate forklifts to move products around the production floor. + Handle written compounder materials and have knowledge of computer systems. + Pick required raw materials from the warehouse based on manufacturing requirements. + Stage raw materials and add them to tanks as per work order instructions. + Fill and pack orders according to sales orders, ensuring accurate weight and labels. + Follow GMP and safety guidelines and procedures. + Be open to cross-training and assisting in different departments. Essential Skills + Experience with receiving products using forklifts (stand up and sit down). + Ability to retrieve and return raw materials to and from the warehouse. + Proficiency in using ERP and handheld barcode scanners. + Conduct cycle counting of raw materials. + Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting. + Knowledge of forklift safety, respirator protection, and lock-out training. + Experience in compounding, blending, batching, or machine operating in a food or GMP environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to pay close attention to detail when reviewing batch records. + Comfortable working in GMP environments with smell considerations. + Experience in food manufacturing, chemical handling, and general labor. + Familiarity with RF scanners. Work Environment The work environment is a GMP food manufacturing setting, operating from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Candidates must be comfortable with GMP requirements, including wearing a full beard net, hair net & respirator. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
