**Job Title: Material Handler** Job Description As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for creating kits and packing based on work orders, distributing them throughout the facility using SAP, and documenting all reporting accurately. Responsibilities + Create and distribute kits to production areas. + Generate package labels for external customers. + Work with serial and PO numbers to maintain high accuracy levels. + Prioritize tasks effectively and work well under pressure. + Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory efficiently. + Operate forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks for material handling. Essential Skills + Material handling expertise. + Proficiency in kitting, cycle counts, and order picking. + Ability to operate forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. + Basic computer skills and basic math proficiency. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Initiative, motivation, and confidence. + Manufacturing experience is essential. + High School Diploma required. + BA/BS degree required if pursuing leadership roles. + Aerospace experience is a plus but not required. + Must be able to read and communicate in English. Work Environment Work in a manufacturing environment during the first shift, Monday to Friday from 5 AM to 1:30 PM or Monday to Thursday from 5 AM to 3:30 PM. The environment is occasionally loud, requiring steel toe shoes and safety glasses. The position is a temporary assignment of 90 working days, transitioning to a permanent role based on tenure and attendance. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simi Valley, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
