Material Handler
**Job Title: Material Handler** Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that materials are handled efficiently and safely. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, material picking, and the operation of various heavy equipment. Responsibilities + Handle materials efficiently and safely within the manufacturing process. + Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. + Perform shipping and receiving duties accurately and timely. + Engage in material picking and packing activities. + Conduct cycle counting and maintain inventory accuracy. + Utilize RF scanners for warehouse management tasks. Essential Skills + At least 6 months of warehouse experience within a manufacturing environment. + Proficiency in materials handling techniques, including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds). + Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation. + Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks. + Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with warehouse management systems is advantageous. + Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. + Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
