Material Handler
**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for picking and packaging products for shipping, loading and unloading trucks, and checking and verifying paperwork. You will receive training on how to use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and cranes, ensuring that you work safely and efficiently. **Responsibilities** + Pick and package products for shipping. + Load and unload trucks as needed. + Check and verify paperwork. + Learn to use warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and cranes. + Maintain a safe and efficient work environment. **Essential Skills** + Forklift operation. + Material handling expertise. + Inventory management skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience (at least 6 months). + Ability to lift 50+ lbs. + Comfortable with constant walking, standing, and bending. + Motivated, dependable, and demonstrates good attendance. **Why Work Here** Join a regional large company that offers internal room for growth and development. Other personal protective equipment will be provided as needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Portland, Maine. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
