**Job Title: Expediter** **Job Description** Join our team as a 1st shift Expediter where you will ensure the seamless flow of materials to production equipment as per the schedule. Your role is vital for maintaining efficient operations, accurate material transfers, and system updates. **Responsibilities** + Deliver necessary raw materials to machines based on the current order requirements. + Set up computers for operators to print labels. + Transport finished goods to inventory. + Ensure continuous processing of all machines to prevent downtime due to lack of raw materials. + Assist in processing materials from Extruder to inventory. + Ensure proper inventory rotation by following FIFO order. + Perform lock out/tag out procedures on trailers and maintain forklift and lift lead certification. + Notify supervisor or manager of any potential safety hazards. + Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency with various forklifts including Sit-down (counterbalance), Narrow Aisle (Reach truck), Electric Pallet Jack, and Rider pallet jack. + Strong computer skills. + Experience with RF Scanner. + Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally. + Good attendance record. + 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in expediting materials and data entry. + Material handling and picking skills. **Why Work Here?** The position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity, providing stability and growth potential within the company.
