**Job Title: Material Handler**
**Job Description**
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials within the facility, supporting production schedules, and maintaining inventory records. Your role will involve transporting materials throughout the facility, supplying production lines, maintaining accurate inventory, organizing storage, and operating warehouse equipment safely.
**Responsibilities**
+ Transport raw materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility to designated areas, including the production floor, warehouse, and shipping areas.
+ Supply production lines with materials needed to meet manufacturing schedules and ensure uninterrupted production.
+ Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.
+ Properly label and store materials in assigned locations, optimizing space and ensuring easy accessibility.
+ Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
+ Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
+ Participate in efforts to improve material handling processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or HVAC-related industry.
+ Experience using an RF scanner to track materials coming in and out of inventory.
+ Ability to document and track inventory, ensuring ample product availability.
+ Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
+ Familiarity with ERP systems, EPICOR is a plus.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in an HVAC or manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
+ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Knowledge of HVAC systems or manufacturing processes is a plus.

**Work Environment**
The work environment requires the ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch as necessary, and climb portable ladders. Personal Protection Equipment will be required, and good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are essential.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Arizona.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
