Material Handler
**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving deliveries at the start of your shift, ensuring their accuracy, and entering inventory into the computer system. You will label products and ensure that the production floor is supplied with the necessary raw materials using pallet jacks. Additionally, you will ensure that finished packaged products are ready for shipping. **Responsibilities** + Receive and verify deliveries for accuracy. + Enter inventory data accurately into the computer system. + Label products appropriately. + Supply the production floor with raw materials as needed. + Ensure finished products are packaged and ready for shipping. **Essential Skills** + Experience in material handling and shipping. + Proficiency in forklift operation, including sit-down forklifts. + Ability to use RF scanners, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. + Experience in order picking and inventory management. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bilingual skills are a plus. + Proficient in computer usage. + Experience working in a food manufacturing environment. **Why Work Here?** Join a dedicated team in a clean and organized warehouse environment. The dress code includes wearing jeans and boots. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newburyport, Massachusetts. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.11/hr.
