**Fragrance & Cosmetic Manufacturing Company Urgently Hiring Material Handlers as Soon as Possible in Fairfield, NJ!** _Please apply, and can start career opportunity within the same week as applying!_ **Location:** Fairfield, NJ **Shift:** 7:30am-4pm (Monday-Friday) **Pay:** $19/hour ; Overtime: $28.50/hour (Overtime is Available) **Job Description** This position involves loading and unloading trucks, order picking, wrapping products, packing, labeling, shipping, and receiving. The material handler will perform preventive maintenance such as adding water and oil as necessary, ensure quality control by preventing damaged products from being sent out, and damaged raw materials from being accepted in. The role requires communication with other warehouse employees, operating forklifts, and moving waste from the warehouse to dumpsters. **Responsibilities** + Load and unload trucks efficiently. + Pick orders accurately and wrap products securely. + Pack, label, ship, and receive products. + Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts, including adding water and oil as necessary. + Communicate effectively with other warehouse employees. + Ensure equipment is turned off and locked out when not in use. + Move waste from the warehouse to dumpsters. + Operate forklifts safely and effectively. + Complete daily logs with attention to detail. + Ensure quality control, preventing damaged products from being sent out and damaged raw materials from being accepted. + Package finished products for shipping, including shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling. + Stage finished products for loading and load them onto trucks. + Unload raw materials from trucks and move them to warehouse storage. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in shipping and data entry. + Ability to pull stock from warehouse efficiently. + Experience using FedEx and UPS systems. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
