Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our logistics and warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include operating a sit-down electric forklift, unloading trucks, reviewing packing slips and order slips, using a tape measure for precise measurements, and handling materials efficiently. You will be tasked with checking materials upon receipt, disseminating them to welders and staging areas, and conducting manual inventory work. The ability to lift up to 40-50 pounds is required.
ResponsibilitiesOperate a sit-down electric forklift to move materials.Unload trucks and inspect incoming shipments.Review packing slips and order slips for accuracy.Use a tape measure for material assessment.Check materials and perform receiving duties.Disseminate materials to welders and staging areas.Conduct manual inventory work.Ensure materials are put in the proper place.Essential SkillsExperience in materials handling and warehouse inventory management.Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.Strong attention to detail.Reading and interpreting drawings to build orders.Self-motivation and a strong work ethic.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift experience is a plus but training will be provided if needed.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
