**Job Title: Material Handler**
**Job Description**
In this role, you will be responsible for picking and packaging products for shipping, as well as loading and unloading trucks as necessary. Additional duties involve checking and verifying paperwork. Training will be provided to use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and cranes. It is essential to work safely and efficiently in this position.
**Responsibilities**
+ Pick and package products for shipping.
+ Load and unload trucks as needed.
+ Check and verify paperwork.
+ Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and cranes.
+ Ensure safety and efficiency in all tasks.
**Essential Skills**
+ Forklift operation.
+ Material handling.
+ Inventory management.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience (at least 6 months).
+ Motivated, dependable, and maintain good attendance.
+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
+ Comfortable with constant walking, standing, and bending.

**Work Environment**
The work takes place in a large open warehouse where steel-toed shoes are required. Other personal protective equipment is provided as needed.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Portland, Maine.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
