**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** We are seeking a Shipping Associate who can independently manage the timely and efficient dispatch of orders. This role requires someone who is adept at thinking on their feet and possesses basic math skills. The position involves lifting up to 50 lbs, and while forklift experience is preferred, training will be provided if necessary. The Material Handler will work under the supervision of the lead Manufacturing Planner/Materials Supervisor, receiving raw materials, shipping final products, assisting in inventory counts, and issuing materials for packing. **Responsibilities** + Receive raw materials and ship final products. + Assist in monthly and yearly inventory counts. + Issue materials to packing. + Perform tasks related to crating and shipping of products and parts. + Support powered scaffolding equipment and accessories. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently. + Proficiency in basic math. + Strong independent thinking skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift experience preferred, but training available. + Basic computer skills. **Why Work Here?** Join a company with a positive and inclusive culture, where employees enjoy long tenures and full benefits. The facility includes bench stations with tools and parts, and involves physical activities such as bending, reaching, and moving to access parts. The warehouse is not insulated and has limited lighting. The role is part of the manufacturing environment, focusing on scaffolding and the wind turbine industry. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tukwila, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
