Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for reading job orders to determine settings, operating machinery to make precise cuts, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of paper products. You will use a Quick skan machine for measurements, align sheets, and operate controls to manage the cutting process. Additionally, you will adjust guides, change shear blades, and become familiar with all paper grades used. Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to lubrication schedules are essential.
ResponsibilitiesRead job orders to determine settings.Set computer or manually adjust trimmer for proper cuts.Use Quick skan machine to measure paper.Position and align sheets against guides and clamp them to the machine bed.Operate controls to force shear blade through sheets.Adjust guides and reposition material to trim or square edges as needed.Change shear blade when necessary.Become knowledgeable about all grades of paper used.Complete all necessary paperwork accurately.Oil and grease machine per lubrication schedule.Maintain cleanliness of the work area.Essential SkillsMachine operationInspectionQuality assuranceMachine setupPress operationGeneral laborAssemblyHand tool usageMachine operatingAdditional Skills & QualificationsForklift driving experience preferred but not required.Experience as an assistant or rewinder in paper or plastic companies is beneficial.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is an older warehouse with a production setting and large equipment. The building can become hot during the summer months.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Neenah, Wisconsin.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.55 - $26.00/hr.
