Material Handler
**Job Title: Material Handler (Cherry Picker)** **Shift:** 7:45am-4:00pm (OT offered before shift) **Pay:** $18-$20 **Location** : Yulee, FL (32097) **Position Type:** Contract-to-hire **Job Description** This position involves receiving, storing, and distributing products such as pipe couplings, valves, and fittings within a warehouse facility. The role includes checking incoming shipments for accuracy, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring proper storage procedures are followed. All tasks must be performed while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Receive and store incoming products accurately. + Distribute products within the warehouse facility. + Check incoming shipments for accuracy. + Pick and pack orders efficiently. + Load and unload trucks safely. + Maintain and manage inventory levels. + Ensure proper storage procedures are followed. + Adhere to safety regulations and quality standards. **Essential Skills** + Experience with material handling and inventory management. + Proficiency in using RF scanners and cherry pickers. + Ability to operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks. + Skills in order picking, packing, loading, and packaging. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Cherry Picker Forklift. + Knowledge of warehouse operations. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values hard work and dedication. You will use a cherry picker to pull items from racks. The shift runs from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm, with flexibility to start earlier once fully trained. Employees typically work 50+ hours a week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Yulee, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
