**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** The role involves operating various pieces of equipment to efficiently load I beams and structural steel onto trailers while adhering to Department of Transportation standards. The equipment includes forklifts, Combi-lifts, Sktracks, and outdoor hilos. This position requires precision and a keen understanding of how to avoid overloading trailers. Candidates must pass a tape measure test before the interview. **Responsibilities** + Operate forklifts, Combi-lifts, Sktracks, and outdoor hilos to load I beams and structural steel onto trailers. + Ensure trailers are not overloaded according to Department of Transportation standards. + Participate in unloading trucks and shipping operations. + Maintain a safe and efficient warehouse environment. + Collaborate with team members to optimize loading processes. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 1 year experience operating an overhead crane. + Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift. + Proficiency in warehouse operations including loading and unloading trucks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working with steel and large structural components is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy team lunches with food trucks and a potential bump in pay upon direct hire.
