Material Handler
**Urgent hiring for Material Handlers in Joppa for $18/hr-$20/hr- Morning shift** **Job Description** The Material Handler is responsible for receiving and verifying incoming materials, managing the shipping and receiving of materials and finished products, maintaining stock areas, and picking and preparing sales orders for outbound shipment. A strong attention to detail is crucial due to the complexity of part numbers. **Responsibilities** + Receive and verify incoming materials. + Manage the shipping and receiving of materials and finished products. + Maintain organized stock areas. + Pick and prepare sales orders for outbound shipment. + Verify merchandise and ensure accuracy in handling. **Essential Skills** + Warehouse experience. + Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes. + Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. + Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Basic math and reading skills. + Proficient use of proper English grammar, both written and verbal. + Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and regularly lift up to 50 pounds. **Why Work Here?** This company is committed to promoting from within, offering employees the opportunity to advance into roles on the electrical side with substantial raises. The work schedule is 1st shift from 8 am to 5 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Joppa, Maryland. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
