Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for processing order sheets, selecting the most efficient forklift for tasks, locating products within the warehouse, picking and packing these products, and completing necessary paperwork. This role involves physical work, including lifting items up to 40 lbs repeatedly to build pallets.

ResponsibilitiesProcess order sheets and choose the appropriate forklift for tasks.Locate and retrieve products within the warehouse.Pick and pack products accurately and efficiently.Fill out all necessary paperwork associated with orders.Perform physical tasks including lifting items up to 40 lbs to build pallets.Essential SkillsExperience with forklifts, including stand, reach, and cherry pickers.Proficiency in order picking and pallet building.Around 6 months of reach truck experience.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Computer literacy.High School Diploma or GED.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The warehouse is a large, well-organized space with 10-12 docks for truck operations. It is clean and well-lit, providing a comfortable setting for material handling tasks. The team consists of 6 employees who work collaboratively, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. The atmosphere is both professional and enjoyable.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Addison, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50/hr.
