**Job Title: Material Handler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a diligent and skilled Material Handler to join our team. This role involves handling materials, palletizing, shrink wrapping, and operating machinery, including sit-down forklifts, within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Handle materials efficiently and safely.
+ Palletize and shrink wrap products.
+ Operate various machines as required.
+ Operate sit-down forklifts to move materials.
+ Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience.
+ Forklift certification is required.
+ Proficiency in assembly and use of measurement tools.
+ Experience in machine operation within a manufacturing setting.
+ Ability to multitask and handle general labor duties.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write the English language effectively.
+ Strong mathematics and reasoning skills.
+ Willingness to work any shift as needed.

**Work Environment**
The company specializes in manufacturing plastic protective film for IV and blood bags. You will be working in a union environment with a rotating shift schedule. Employees are required to wear steel toe boots and work jeans and shirts without logos, ensuring safety and professionalism.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.41 - $19.41/hr.
