Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description

The Material Handler II is responsible for ensuring all inventory is maintained accurately and provided to required areas in a timely manner.

ResponsibilitiesPerform material movements both physically and systematically.Generate work orders from an ERP system.Perform work order receipts in ERP system.Conduct cycle counting as required.Maintain a neat and safe work environment.Assist in the coordination and flow of products through manufacturing and assembly when needed.Work in a cross-functional team environment.Handle chemicals in certain areas with proper training provided.Work overtime as required for business needs.Support all company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency in performing material movements both physically and systematically.Experience with generating and processing work orders in an ERP system.Ability to conduct cycle counting.Capability to maintain a neat and safe work environment.Experience in a cross-functional team environment.Ability to handle chemicals with proper training.Willingness to work overtime as required.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in supporting Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).Knowledge of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and other regulatory requirements.Why Work Here?

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Itasca, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
