Material Handler
Manpower is partnering with a global leader of engineered and manufactured precision power and measurement controls in search of a material handler to join their team. This is an entry level, temp to hire opportunity with many perks with a starting pay of $20 per hour. **What’s in it for You?** + Temp to hire opportunity with reputable semiconductor company + No weekends, with great benefits and perks + Clean, safe and laid back work environment + Generous paid time off starting at 4 weeks, along with 7 holidays and 3 floating holidays + Company matched 401k + Tuition reimbursement + 8 weeks paid parental leave for both Moms and Dads + Expanded mental health coverage and employee assistance programs **What is the Job?** + Responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment + Distribution can include the driving of a company truck to transport materials + Examines, stocks, and kits materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines + Prepares kitting packages for assembly production, service repair, and sales orders + Performs daily cycle counts, posts inventory counts as applicable, and helps resolve discrepancies + Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control + Communicates issues appropriately to Planners, Buyers, etc + Responds to requests & inquiries quickly and professionally + Other duties as assigned + Uses instructions to assemble, modify and rework or re-assemble units to meet customer specifications + Work on assignments that are somewhat repetitive in nature + Communicate openly and effectively in a team environment + Understand and follow safety requirements and protocol + Maintains fixtures and perform calibration as needed + Maintain equipment and general housekeeping of work area **What Do You Bring to the Job?** + High School Diploma or equivalent + Prior experience in storeroom, warehousing, or other material handling position preferred + Experience with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and Excel desired + Ability to pass a background check and submit to a drug screen If you’re interested in this opportunity please call Theresa at 971-281-4470 or Kelsey @ 503-20-9890!
