**Job Title: Material Handler**
**Job Description**
The primary responsibility of the Material Handler is to efficiently move materials from the warehouse to the fabrication line and from the fabrication line to assembly. The goal is to ensure that Material Handlers are the sole movers of products between different spaces. Additional duties include maintaining cleanliness and proper stocking of inventory in the warehouse, ensuring parts match blueprints, conducting cycle counts, and assisting with assembling kits as needed.
**Responsibilities**
+ Move materials between warehouse, fabrication line, and assembly.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelves, pallet areas, and workstations.
+ Load assembly carts with correct parts and quantities.
+ Verify parts against blueprints.
+ Conduct cycle counts of inventory.
+ Assist with kit assembly.
+ Operate a forklift and a variety of hand and power tools.
+ Efficiently load and unload products using a forklift.
+ Inspect forklifts and other equipment for safe working conditions.
+ Ensure proper packing, labeling, and tagging of inventory.
+ Maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers.
+ Comply with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
+ Assist team members and perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in operating forklifts.
+ Experience with inventory management and cycle counts.
+ Ability to operate hand and power tools.
+ Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling.
+ Attention to detail for verifying parts against blueprints.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in loading and unloading pallets.
+ Ability to maintain an organized and clean work environment.

**Work Environment**
Work in a large fabrication and assembly plant that fosters a small-town feel and teamwork. Dress code includes steel toe boots, jeans, and non-offensive clothing. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5:30 PM.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kindred, North Dakota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
