**Now Hiring Material Handler in Glen Rock, PA!** **1st Shift** M-F 6am-2:30p **Pay:** $18.50/hr **HS Diploma Required** **Job Description** Join our team as a Material Handler, where you will play a crucial role in managing the movement and storage of raw materials and finished goods within our facility. **Responsibilities** + Perform a variety of material handling and inventory control tasks, including receiving raw material deliveries and preparing materials for production. + Transport and store materials in appropriate warehouse areas using manual and power material handling equipment. + Accurately perform work assignments and computer transactions to adjust inventory. + Conduct visual inspections of materials to ensure quality. + Maintain workflow by providing proper materials in a timely manner. + Ensure a safe and clean work environment, notifying lead operators and supervisors of any unsafe practices. + Perform work according to SPARs, Work Instructions, and verbal instructions, seeking assistance from lead operators or supervisors when needed. + Communicate effectively with associates, lead operators, and supervisors to prevent problems and relay information to the next shift. + Receive and unpack materials and supplies, checking receipts and bills of lading against purchase orders. **Essential Skills** + Experience with sit-down forklift operations. + Proficiency in computer skills for inventory management. + Ability to perform calculations using various units of measure. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum high school education with one year of experience in a related area. + Experience with palletizing, packing, and shipping and receiving. + Ability to use RF scanners, pallet jacks, and order picking. **Work Environment** Our facility is very clean and well-lit, resembling a borderline clean room environment. While not overly fast-paced, employees remain busy with ongoing tasks, engaging in effective communication and teamwork. Candidates should be comfortable with various smells associated with adhesive manufacturing, which can be strong in certain areas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.35/hr.
