**Job Title: Material Handler**
**Job Description**
We are looking for dedicated material handlers to join our team. The role involves handling tasks in packing, picking, and shipping, ensuring that all materials and products are processed efficiently and accurately. Candidates should be open to working 10-hour shifts and be comfortable with optional overtime on weekends.
**Responsibilities**
+ Pack products according to written instructions.
+ Mark and label containers, container tags, or products using marking tools.
+ Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
+ Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specifications are met.
+ Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
+ Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks.
+ Receive valves from assembly accurately.
+ Collect all material for Manifold Assembly.
+ Verify material against BOM.
+ Match MO’s for kit orders.
+ Assemble boxes.
+ Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of material being packed and shipped to customers.
+ Coordinate shipping documents.
+ Ensure product is properly packed and organized per written and verbal instructions for accurate and safe delivery.
+ Label shipments of products using marking tools.
+ Prep orders for Packers.
+ Operate material handling machinery.
+ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum 1 year of material handling experience.
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Ability to communicate in English.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Forklift operation experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Past warehouse experience.
+ Comfortable working overtime.
+ Experience with RF scanners.
+ Ability to follow written and verbal directions in English.
+ Ability to take initiative.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is manufacturing-based, well-lit, and temperature-controlled. There are oils in the assembly department, and materials are densely packed in certain areas. Employees will be assigned to one of the two facilities in Lincolnshire, which are located close to each other, or the facility in Vernon Hills.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincolnshire, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.20 - $21.20/hr.
