Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

In this position, candidates will be responsible for receiving product, mainly raw materials, into the plant. They will un-package the product and verify counts according to the paperwork or Bill of Lading (BOL). Visual inspections for quality will be performed. Product counts and part numbers will be documented in the computer database and then put away in the appropriate location. Labels will need to be printed and affixed to products prior to them being put away.

The facility is clean and well-lit, with tall ceilings in the assembly area, which is divided into cells for trailer assembly. The workspace is heated in the winter but not air-conditioned in the summer, so it can be warm. The environment is noisy in some areas due to air tools but is not consistently loud. The plant comprises three main areas: machining/fabrication, assembly, and paint shop. With around 100 employees, the team currently operates on a first shift from 6 am to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday, with overtime opportunities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
