Material Handler/2nd Shift /Can Start Asap
**Job Title: Material Handler** Job Description This role involves working in the shipping department of a production facility. The candidate will manage operations within the warehouse and production areas, ensuring the seamless flow of finished goods to the shipping area for dispatch. Responsibilities + Supply materials to the production lines. + Maintain accurate records of material flow and inventory. + Wrap skids and palletize products efficiently. + Operate RF scanners for inventory management. + Utilize reach trucks to load trucks and transport materials. + Occasionally operate cherry pickers. + Ship products using UPS and FedEx. Essential Skills + 1 year of forklift experience. + Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment. + Capability to lift up to 50 pounds if required. + Computer literacy. + Strong attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous experience as a material handler in a manufacturing setting. + OSHA Forklift Certification. + Basic knowledge of JDE systems and kanban. + Experience in lean manufacturing settings. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover Park, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
