Material Handler - 2nd Shift (2PM - 12PM)

Job Title: Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Job Description

As a Material Handler in our Metal Manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for safely moving raw materials, coils, and finished metal parts throughout the facility. You will support production by delivering materials to workstations, organizing inventory, completing documentation, and operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Your role is crucial in ensuring a clean, efficient workflow and contributing to a safe, high-performance manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Manage and transport in-plant materials efficiently and safely.Pick up and deliver raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and packaging supplies between production and shipping areas.Load metal coils for production.Return properly identified materials to designated inventory locations.Dispose of scrap materials according to established procedures.Complete required identification and inventory documentation.Successfully complete the company’s forklift certification program.Conduct pre-shift inspections of assigned forklift equipment and maintain accurate records.Plan and coordinate movement of materials to support production schedules.Maintain neat, organized material storage and work areas.Support production operators with the timely delivery of parts, containers, and supplies.Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

2+ years of consistent work history in Material HandlingForklift operation experience.2 years in metal material handling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1-2+ years of prior manufacturing experience, with machine operating strongly preferred.At least one reference from a recent job.Experience in high-volume product movement.

This is a Permanent position based out of Grafton, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
