Material Handler - 1st & 2nd Shift
**Material Handler 1st & 2nd Shift** Material Handlers support both administrative and physical responsibilities involved in storing, counting, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. This role maintains accurate inventory records, ensures efficient material flow, and supports production schedules by pulling, delivering, and staging materials and finished goods. The Material Handler plays a key role in meeting our clients high standards of quality, accuracy, and operational efficiency. **Essential Functions** + Maintain accurate inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in stock while recording locations in Oracle. + Pull, verify, and deliver materials listed on move orders and pick slips; complete all required Oracle transactions. + Receive returned materials from production, verify item and lot information, restock materials, and update Oracle records. + Prepare finished goods for shipment, including identifying, picking, packing, crating, loading, and securing products according to procedures and work instructions. + Perform pre-use inspections on material‑handling equipment (e.g., scales) to ensure safe and proper operation. + Contribute to team success by completing related tasks as needed. + Troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively, seeking guidance when required. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment—including plant areas, workstations, equipment, walkways, and break rooms—following 5S principles. + Participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives. + Follow all operating procedures and work instructions to safely and efficiently meet job requirements in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED required. + Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred. + Strong organizational skills and a positive, team‑oriented attitude. + Ability to read and understand written instructions and follow verbal directions; strong verbal communication skills. + Basic computer and data entry proficiency. + Ability to work independently while following direction as needed. + Reliable and punctual attendance; must be available for assigned shifts and required overtime. **Physical Demands** Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
