Material Handler 1
Our client, a leading medical device company, is seeking a Material Handler I to join their team. As a Material Handler I, you will be part of the Warehousing Operations supporting the Supermarket team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional technical skills, in-depth knowledge of inventory management systems and software, and the ability to learn and train juniors quickly, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Material Handler I **Location:** Peachtree Corners, GA **Pay Range:** $22.00 **Schedule:** Mon.-Fri., 7:00am-3:30pm **What's the Job?** + Receiving materials, physically and systemically, to be used in production operations and engineering projects. + Physically and systemically moving approved Production materials from IQC staging areas into SMKT storage locations. (Totes and Bulk) + Point-of-use parts replenishment for designated production lines. + Fulfilling and transacting MT requests, received either electronically or via hard copy. + Fulfilling and transacting Sales Orders and Service Transfer Orders. + Maintain, report, and drive STO’s, direct to Mexico, northbound and other locations replenishment process. + Production parts replenishment via SPP kitting. + Packing System carts, FRUs and kits. + Understand full flow of the material within stockroom locations. Participate in Cycle Count, Physical Inventories, and reconciliation activities in coordination with Inventory analyst, conduct material audits and parts verification and evaluate bin capacity and consolidations to increase storage capacity. Maintain various SOX compliance audit records and suggest CIPs to improve warehouse efficiency. **What's Needed?** + Minimum 1-2-years of experience in Material Handling operations preferred. + Ability to lift material up to 50 lbs. + Ability to adhere to attendance, safety, quality, and performance guidelines. + Experience training/mentoring other material handlers. + Extensive walking and repetitive physical motion (squatting, bending, lifting, climbing ladders) is required. + Proficient in Agile and/or SAP. + Inventory control experience (cycle counting, physical inventories). + Possess high school degree or GED. + Strong interpersonal skills. + Medical device experience preferred. + Experience and/or certification in operating material-handling equipment preferred. **What's in it for me?** + Competitive pay + Opportunity to work with a leading medical device company. + Paid time off and holiday pay. + 401(k) plan with company match. + Health, dental, and vision insurance.
