This role involves managing daily toll reports and coil inventory. Responsibilities include handling mill-owned material, issuing pick slips, updating reports, and supporting various operational tasks as needed.
ResponsibilitiesReview toll reports and update coil inventory.Trip and receive mill-owned material.Verify incoming material specifications.Update toll, sales, and production reports.Print pick slips and create client documents as needed.Monitor emails and communicate with internal teams.Maintain safety vouchers and manage safety/badge updates.Order supplies and coordinate vendor setup.Handle signage requests and support operations and events.Remain on call for urgent operational needs.Essential SkillsExperience in inventory management, planning, and cycle counting.Proficiency in report preparation and supply chain management.Experience in shipping and receiving.Strong customer service orientation.Proficient in order entry and inventory control.Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory tracking.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.At least one year of related experience or training.Experience with JD Edwards or ERP systems is a plus.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficient in basic math and data entry.Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Outlook.Ability to use a 10-key calculator.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is an office and warehouse setting with moderate noise levels. The role requires sitting, walking, and the use of close vision. Safety equipment must be worn on the warehouse floor.
