Material Controls Associate - Sorrento - 1st Shift - $23/hr
Job Description
We are seeking a Material Controls Associate who will expertly manage inventory and order management systems to ensure efficient on-site program replenishments and disbursements. This role involves receiving, putting away, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry, expediting, resolving customer service calls, processing product returns, and managing backorders. Your analytical skills will be vital in maintaining and reconciling reports to meet partner requirements. You will also interact with customers daily, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Perform on-site program replenishments and disbursements.Handle receiving, put-away, and stock rotation tasks.Conduct cycle counts, order entry, and expediting efficiently.Resolve customer service calls and process product returns.Manage backorders and ensure customer requirements are met.Maintain and reconcile various customer and company reports.Follow work processes as outlined by written procedures.Provide regular updates to customers.Essential Skills
Proficiency in inventory management and control.Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite.Ability to multitask and meet deadlines using organizational skills.Strong communication skills with fluency in English.Experience operating handheld scanners and performing data entry.Knowledge of ERP systems and RF scan guns.2-3 years of inventory management experience.Customer service skills in a customer-facing role.Additional Skills & Qualifications
2-3 years of equivalent experience, preferably at a biotech company.Experience with pallet jacks, cycle counts, and forklifts.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role requires the physical ability to lift, push, and pull 30-40 pounds consistently, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. You will also operate pushcarts and pallet jacks as part of your daily duties.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
