Key Responsibilities:
AOG Controllers provide 24/7 logistical operations representing Supply Chain at the Arlington Heights Network Operations Center to ensure timely processing of critical material and tooling requests. Executes on out-of-service and scheduled workload assignments requiring parts and tools in support of the Maintenance customer. Ensures a high degree of performance and interdepartmental cooperation while working in a high stress environment with real time constraints.

Coordinate the end-to-end logistics of parts and tools for out-of-service and scheduled workload activitiesDetermines the method of transportation that provides the most value to United for out-of service and scheduled workload activitiesWork closely with the Maintenance Control to validate part and tool requirements and determine the best method of acquiring parts using company inventories or market availabilityCoordinate with Toolrooms and Warehouse Stores personnel to ensure proper tools are shipped to support grounded aircraft and scheduled workload activitiesAlso coordinate return of tools back to the toolroom ownerPurchase aircraft parts or tooling at the best overall value to the company to support grounded aircraft and scheduled workload activitiesTo include, Initiate purchase orders and ensures receipt, payment, and finalizationInitiate borrows of aircraft parts or tools from other airlines for faster aircraft recovery and operational reliabilitySupport other airlines through accommodation sales and loans if the inventory allowsConduct self-audits, ensuring compliance with documented policies and procedures Utilize and understand various Corporate and Government regulated manuals to include the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC)Qualifications

Associate’s degree/Technical or related experienceSupply Chain, Logistics Control, Business, OperationsMinimum 1+ years job experience in airline, logistics or related field or related leadership experience Knowledgeable in Logistics Control and Airline OperationsBeginner Microsoft office applications (excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

The base pay range for this role is $66,500.00 to $86,616.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
