**Job Title:** Material Control Technician **Location:** Corunna, ON Our client is seeking a Material Control Technician to join their team. As a Material Control Technician, you will be part of the Supply Chain Support team, contributing to efficient material management and inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Description:** + Unload trucks and accurately receive stock and non-stock purchase orders for the Corunna site. + Inspect materials for defects, damages, and quality issues, ensuring compliance with standards. + Maintain precise material locations in SAP and update records accordingly. + Perform daily cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile inventory balances. + Provide timely and courteous service to end users requesting materials, ensuring SAP system updates reflect usage. **Qualifications:** + Post-secondary education in Business, CITT, APICS, PMAC, or equivalent experience with warehouse operations (3-5 years) or high school diploma with 5 years of warehouse experience. + Strong computer skills, including experience with SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. + Valid driver’s license and forklift certification, with the ability to operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and relevant warehouse equipment. + Ability to lift up to 22.5kg and prioritize tasks with excellent attention to detail. + Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management, with a focus on safety and compliance. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment. + Engagement in meaningful work that contributes to operational excellence. + Development of valuable skills in inventory control and logistics management. + Participation in safety and compliance initiatives that promote a safe workplace. + Potential for future career growth within a reputable organization.
