**Hiring 2nd Shift Material Handler** **Carlsbad, CA** **Job Description** The Material Handler is responsible for managing work orders and material transactions, moving, handling, and storing various materials between stock and inventory. The role involves tracking and transacting materials within the warehouse efficiently. **Responsibilities** + Ensure that Finished Goods and Work In Progress (WIP) are transacted in the inventory system promptly. + Resolve inaccuracies within transactions. + Assist in the movements and transactions of products, materials, and parts using inventory software. + Ensure orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory and delivering production materials and supplies when needed. + Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of materials and parts. + Ensure that all materials and parts are checked, safely stored, and ready to be issued to production when needed. + Maintain a well-updated account of stock, WIP, and inventory. + Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on material transfer request forms. + Handle and control stock material, ensuring all materials are correctly located and labeled. + Issue and transport stock material to production and transact all material movement in the inventory system in a timely manner. + Conduct regular cycle counts and stock checks. + Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Computer proficiency in Excel, ERP, and Outlook + 3-5 years of previous stock or inventory experience (Biotech industry or GMP experience is a must) + Demonstrated understanding of supply chain and inventory management + Attention to detail and problem-solving skills + Experience with Fishbowl software is a plus + Ability to work independently and within a team Work Environment This role is set in a GMP manufacturing environment on the 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with initial training occurring on the 1st shift. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
